I am happy to report that my poem entitled "The Warrior" has been accepted for publication by the very fine web journal Goblin Fruit. In addition, the editors of this very fine journal have requested that I provide a reading of the poem in audio format for inclusion with the piece, which I have agreed to do.

When "The Warrior" is published I will, of course, make an announcement here.

My short story entitled, "Akhila, Divided" has been accepted for Clockwork Phoenix: Tales of Beauty and Strangeness, a new, annual anthology edited by Mike Allen.

I'm very excited about this sale for many reasons. "Akhila, Divided" is a tragedy with challenging subject matter, so I was afraid I wouldn't sell it at all. However, I have not only sold it, I have sold it to an anthology which received over 1300 submissions, edited by a talented and discriminating editor and containing a stories by Tanith Lee, Cathrynne Valente, Leah Bobet and others.

I am happy to report that I have sold "Bringing Woden to the Little Green Men" to PanGaia. It began as a poem, then was submitted as a piece of flash fiction during Week Two of the Clarion workshop, and finally was rewritten as a long, alliterative poem after Clarion ended. It will appear in the "Science and Magic" issue along with a short, Pagan-friendly introduction I have been asked to write for the speculative elements of the piece.

I should also report that "The Ruin of Beltany Ring" will probably appear in the same issue. Finally, I will have more information about the placement of "From Our Minds to Yours" as soon as I can announce where it has been accepted.

This brings my total of post-Clarion sales to four; two poems and two stories. One from each category is a Clarion piece.

I learned this morning that my non-genre poem entitled "White" will appear in the upcoming "Colors" issue of the Arabesques Review.

This is my first international publication.

My short story entitled "From Our Minds to Yours" has received a tentative (90% certain, according to the editor) acceptance at a market I will disclose when I know for sure the story will run. This tale, which was the first of mine critiqued at Clarion and one of my submission stories, underwent a comprehensive re-write before it went back out. I think it is much improved.
