Because we're spread out all over the world, Rhonda Parrish asked us to record an excerpt reading of our D IS FOR DINOSAUR stories for publication on her blog. Mine went live this morning. I recorded in a closet with my new voice recorder in one take, so it isn't perfect. But it was hella fun to do. Have a listen!

I'm delighted to announce that I'll be participating in several panels at Capclave this year, and I'm also slated for a half-hour reading. Here's my schedule for the weekend:

Wednesday, April 8, 2015

On the evening of April 17th at the St. Michael's Parish Hall in Baddeck, I'll be participating in a benefit for The Puffin Awards for Literary Excellence, an annual short story contest for high school students in Victoria County. I'm excited about the award and pleased I have the opportunity to help raise money for it.

Please come, if you can! I'll be reading from my forthcoming story "C is for Change", which will appear in Rhonda Parrish's B is for Broken anthology. I'll also be participating in a panel discussion about writing and an interactive story circle.

Great reading last night at the library. Many thanks to Cora-Lee, Laverne and Kate for inviting me to come, and many more thanks to the people who attended. Finally, Sean was brilliant as a second reader for the intros and outros of my epistolary tale, and it was tremendous fun to read with him.

So, "N is for Nanomachine" belongs to the world now. "But Ceallaigh," you might ask, "why is the Clockwork Phoenix antho in the picture? Weren't you reading a story from A is for Apocalypse?"

What a great question! My story for the Clockwork Phoenix antho takes place in the same universe that "N is for Nanomachine" does. So if you like the one, you might like the other...
